Class Mates were a doll line from Jun Planning which never really took off, they had planned several dolls but only released three. Their face molds seem to have been re-used in the making of J-Dolls, but their bodies were much smaller - the whole doll, head included, stands appr. 7-8" tall.
They have "real" eye sockets but the eye balls are painted and not chipped or acrylic. You have to saw/crack open the head to change the eyes. Their wigs are of very poor quality. The hands of the female dolls are known to yellow quite a bit - the male doll Takeru has a different body with different hands (even the movement range is different). They were sold for $23 or thereabouts, but the few that still exists cost $40+. Don't go there!
They're really cute, they have several points of articulation, but they are _not_ worth that amount of money.
